The Denver Zoo

The Denver Zoo exhibits more than 2,600 animals representing more than 600 species, in naturalistic habitats. The newest
addition is Tropical Discovery, the Zoo's 22,000 square foot, tropical rain forest, which sits beneath two, giant glass pyramids.
Other highlights include: Giraffe, Pachyderm, Feline and Primate houses, Bird World; and Sheep Mountain. Adults $6.00,

With 40,000 works of art the DAM has the largest most comprehensive art collection between Kansas City and Los Angeles.
The American Indian art collection stands as the finest and most extensive of its kind in any art museum.
The expanded Denver Art Museum complex opened October 7, 2006. They expect large crowds through opening season, so plan ahead to make the most of your visit.
Museum Hours:
Tuesday & Thursday 10 am–5 pm
Wednesday & Friday 10 am–10 pm
Saturday & Sunday 9 am–5 pm
Closed Monday's
The museum is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The DAM is part of the Civic Center Cultural Complex on 13th Avenue between Broadway and Bannock Streets in downtown Denver.

Platte Valley Trolley

Vintage trolley operates on historic railways along Platte River Greenway and west through parks. One-hour and half-hour
rides daily through October. Weekend rides through winter.

Buffalo Bill's Memorial Museum and Grave

Honors exploits of frontier scout and showman, with a panoramic view of Denver from the gravesite.
