The Park People's annual street tree distribution and Earth Day Tree Sale is a volunteer-driven, community-based effort to increase the number of trees throughout Denver. The event will take place at six sites across the city. Participants can pick up pre-ordered street trees to plant in their public right-of-way, or purchase trees at a discounted rate to beautify their yard. The sale is open to the public. Sponsored by Denver Housing & Neighborhood Development Services, Xcel Energy Foundation, The Home Depot Foundation, Alliance for Community Trees, Esurance, Denver Water, Colorado Tree Coalition and Plant-It 2020 in partnership with Denver's Department of Parks and Recreation.
